ABOUT LONGHORN INSPECTIONS
Longhorn Inspections is owned and operated by Danny Pitts, who personally performs every real estate inspection.
Danny came to Austin in 1966 to attend college at the University of Texas, and subsequently graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in the Plan II program and the equivalent of a major in psychology. He attended graduate school at the University of the Americas near Puebla, Mexico.
He went on to become a carpenter and contractor in the Austin area, mentoring under a lead Union Contractor with over 50 years experience in all aspects of construction: electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Danny is knowledgeable in all facets of carpentry - new and remodeling - including framing, roofing, and trim. He spent 22 years building and remodeling houses and commercial buildings in the Austin area before becoming frustrated with the industry, as he was way too much of a perfectionist for today's world.
For the past 13 years, Danny has been inspectiong houses and commercial buildings for individuals who consider their investment an important one and prefer someone with experience, a keen eye, and the diligence to provide them with a sound evaluation of their potential investment.
